Nano Materials

Development of Nanomaterial having in-exchange and photo-electronic properties. HOMO-LUMO adsorbtion of high-low oxidation states. Rationalisation of chemical properties in terms of DFT.

Inorganic Chemistry

Prof. Bhabatosh Mandal was born in a remote village in South-24-Parganas in West-Bengal in 1962. He completed his graduation, and post graduation from Kalyani University in the year of 1984 and 1986 respectively, and became first with first class in B.Sc.
Prof. Bhabatosh Mandal has a teaching experience over 25 years in graduation and post graduation level, and more than 15+ years of research experience in analytical chemistry. Before joining Visva-Bharati he had been a chemist-quality-control at Pfizer for 3 years and a lecturer in Jhargram Raj (Govt.) College for 5 years. Previously 4 research fellows were awarded their PhD degree and currently two UGC fellow, One Rajib Gandhi fellow and one NET fellow are pursuing their PhD, under his guidance.
