Organic Chemistry
Dr. Gourab Kanti Das was born in 12th April 1969. He completed his B.Sc. (in chemistry) and M.Sc. (specialising in Organic chemistry) from Visva-Bharati in 1989 & 1991 respectively. In 1995 he received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Visva-Bharati. Later he joined the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata as a Postdoctoral fellow. At present he is a faculty of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Visva-Bharati. However, before joining the department of chemistry he had been teaching at ABN Seal College, Cooch Behar for 2 years and 6 months. Currently he is involved in research work in Computational Chemistry and Molecular Modeling.
