After completion his M.Sc Prof. S.K chandra is deeply involved in research in the field of “structural inorganic,Bio-inorganic,and Transition metal complex “during.He had joined IACS(Indian association for the cultivation of science) as a Research associate after his Ph.d. Then was busy with his Post-Doctoral research work in two Universities in the USA in the areas of “Kinetic & Mechanistic Chemistry” and “Structural & Magnetochemistry”, respectively with Prof. Edwin S. Gould (Kent State University, USA) and George Christou (Indiana University, USA).His Current area of research is “solid-state,Structural inorganic and Magnetochemistry”.
He has skill to operate perfectly IR, Uv-vis, C, H, N Analysis, NMR, EPR, Mass, Variable Temperature Magnetic Susceptibility Measurements, Cyclic Voltammetry, Differential Pulse Voltammetry & Coulometry, Powder X-ray, Single Crystal X-ray Crystallography, Schlenk Technique, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry etc.
